Server Rack Power (PDU, UPS, ATS)

Rack PDU / Rack Power Strips supply power to IT equipment, while protecting the equipment from power related issues. More advanced units can also provide real-time power monitoring with alerts, on/off/reboot control of outlets or outlet groups, and environmental monitoring of the rack and/or row of racks.

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), is defined as a back-up power system used to ensure uninterrupted power for various electronic devices. A UPS provides back-up power when utility power fails either long enough for critical equipment to shut down sequentially, ensuring no data is lost, or long enough to operate required loads before a generator comes on-line.

Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) provide fail-safe power redundancy. A rack ATS has dual input power cords supplying power to the connected load. If the primary power source becomes unavailable, the rack ATS will seamlessly source power from the secondary source without interrupting critical loads.
