Chemical Detection Sensor Rope

The E-CDx-y Chemical Detection Sensor is used to reliably sense the presence of acids, bases, and other conductive liquids. The cable’s abrasion-resistant polymer core increases its strength and durability. The cable’s sensing wires are enclosed in a non-conductive polymer mesh to help eliminate false alarms

The chemical sensing cable (x) is available in standard lengths (1,10,50 and 100 foot) but custom lengths over 100 feet (30 meters) up to 1000 feet (305 meters) are available. The two-wire connecting cable (y) is available in 5/10/20/50/100 feet but custom lengths over 100 feet (30 meters) up to 1000 feet (305 meters) are available

• For detecting the presence of chemical liquid.
  • Reliably senses acids, bases, and other conductive liquids.
• Detects liquid depth >0.1" (2.5 mm).
• Minimum puddle: 0.6" (15 mm) diameter.
• Features a non-conductive polymer mesh that prevents false alarms caused by dirt/dust buildup, metal contact, or pressure on the rope.
