VPI’s CAT8 cables are capable of reaching up to 40Gbps transfer speeds and up to 2GHz bandwidth. These CAT8 patch cords consist of 4 pairs, 24 AWG stranded copper conductors and RJ45 connectors. Cat.8 patch cables are backwards compatible with Cat.5E, Cat.6, Cat6A, and Cat.7.
