Please note, the APC AP9361 is discontinued. For upgrade options, please contact your Server Racks Online sales representative at 1-866-722-5776.
Rack Access PX-HID protects NetShelter SX enclosures from unauthorized access. This IP-based system uses electronic locks to secure enclosures. Access is granted through HID-based proximity cards or the secure Web interface (using Telnet, HTTP, HTTPS, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), Secure CoPy (SCP), and SNMP). Rack Access PX-HID integrates with existing building security; it is compatible with HID based proximity cards using 125kHz technology, and can authenticate from a RADIUS server. Alarm notification options, such as email, indicate a compromised security state. Administrators can easily configure access for individual employees, schedule access to equipment for maintenance purposes, and view audit trails. Mounting options include traditional rack mounting or toolless zero-U mounting.
- Electronic monitoring of the users who access the enclosure
- Customizable access schedules for each user
- Remote locking or unlocking of the enclosure doors
- Door-open alarms (A door-open alarm occurs when a door is open longer than a specified time.)
- Scheduled unlocking events
- Beacon mapping
- Event log accessible by Telnet, FTP, SSH (Secure SHell), SCP, serial connection, or a Web browser
- SNMP traps and e-mail notifications sent based on the category or severity level of the events
- Syslog events sent to configured Syslog servers
- Security protocols for authentication and encryption
