Improve airflow management in Great Lakes ES-Series server enclosures with the AM-ES Air Manager Assembly. This 1U air management component is designed to direct conditioned air into the equipment enclosure while helping prevent hot-air recirculation. The adjustable airflow panel allows the amount of incoming air to be controlled based on the requirements of the installed equipment.
The Great Lakes AM-ES is designed for use with ES-Series enclosures and can be paired with a compatible fan tray when additional forced-air movement is required. Great Lakes offers standard and high-flow fan tray options separately, allowing the cooling system to be configured according to the enclosure and airflow requirements.
Manage Conditioned Air in ES-Series Enclosures
The AM-ES mounts at the bottom of a compatible ES-Series enclosure and helps direct conditioned air toward the installed equipment. Its adjustable airflow panel allows the airflow opening to be adjusted while maintaining raised-floor pressure within the data center environment.

AM-ES Airflow Management
The AM-ES is an air management component rather than a powered fan tray. Its purpose is to manage the flow of conditioned air entering an ES-Series enclosure. The adjustable panel allows the opening to be changed according to the airflow requirements of the equipment installation.
For installations requiring active airflow, compatible Great Lakes fan trays can be used with the air manager. Standard fan tray options provide 600 CFM, while high-flow fan tray options provide 940 CFM. Fan trays are separate components and should be selected based on the enclosure width and cooling requirements.
Air Manager vs. Fan Tray
AM-ES is the air manager assembly. It does not have a fixed CFM rating because airflow depends on the connected system and fan tray configuration. If you need a powered cooling solution, select a compatible Great Lakes ES-Series fan tray separately.
