InfraPower WS Series Switched PDUs

Besides remote kWh and current monitoring, the ability to switch individual outlets on and off is another key requirement for top-of-the-line intelligent power Distribution units. Especially for data centers with 24/7 operations, the intelligent PDU needs remote outlet switching capabiliy. This allows unresponsive IT equipment to be rebooted remotely minimizing downtime. As a result, switched PDUs are an essential rack level component for mission critical data centers.

The InfraPower WS series includes all the power monitoring features of the InfraPower W series, plus the ability to to switch individual outlets on and off remotely through the free InfraPower management software. In addition to remote rebooting, the free InfraPower Manager IPM-04 provides complete PDU monitoring / control (including reboot scheduling) and reporting functions for your data center.
