Tate Raised Floor Systems (PDF)
The Multi-zone Opposed Blade Damper enables individuals responsible for the physical infrastructure to deliver air where the IT user has servers and equipment installed, but restrict airflow delivery into zones where no blanking panels and no equipment is installed. Divided into three zones, (top, middle and bottom) each zone of the manual damper can be adjusted from the surface without removing the Airflow panel for fast accurate balancing to the fixed IT loads.

The DirectAire Al panels utilize the inner 4 holes to mount the Opposed Blade Damper. Please ensure the airflow panel and OBD is oriented correctly in respect to the server rack. The vanes of the OBD should be in the same orientation as the slots of the panel.
The 32% DirectPerf panels utilize the outer 4 holes to mount the Opposed Blade Damper. Please ensure the airflow panel and OBD is oriented correctly in respect to the server rack. The vanes of the OBD should be in the same orientation as the slots and louvers of the panel.
