Question: is there a retro fit kit to convert a standard cabinet to a two compartment Colo Cabinet
Answer: Thank you for your inquiry,
I am not currently aware of a colo retro-fit kit, but I would honestly suggest a native colo cabinet in either case. There would be a couple of problems associated with modifying a rack for colo purposes:
1) Customers generally require rack security in colo applications (locks, solid steel, etc)
2) Doors are generally split on colo racks - it would be burdensome to buy these separately and 'gerry rig' them into an existing rack
That being said, you could use a shelf or a slab of metal to split the rack in two - and then either use a single door or split your current door in half (make sure the lock mechanism still works and that the hinges support the half doors - you may need an extra 2 hinges).
