24" Depth Server RacksWhich is the best 24" Depth Rack for me? Comparing racks can be a daunting task. Even comparing racks with similar dimensions can be like comparing apples to oranges. In addition to your dimensions requirements, please also take into consideration the rack's cooling capabilities and cooling options, compatibility, load capacity, cable management options, rack accessories, rail mounting, and overall rack expandability. For additional help, please contact our expert sales engineers at 1-866-722-5776. 40" and 42" Depth Server Racks are the most common rack depth sold for data centers. In selecting the Depth of your Server Rack you will want to keep in mind what the deepest piece of equipment you will be putting in it, and then leave a couple of inches behind it for running your cables and power cords. Also please keep in mind that the Usable Rack Depth "rail-to-rail" is 2" less then the Actual Rack Depth. Depending on your application, requirements, and space limitations, it may be prudent to go with a slightly deeper server rack to account for both the depth of the latest servers and blades sold as well as providing enough additional room for cable management, power strips and power cords. * 42U is the most common server rack height sold for data centers. 40" & 42" are the most common server rack depths for data centers & server rooms. | | |
